Is this really a good deal? This beautiful, bulky device would potentially rob me of an opportunity to work out aggressions I may have or even sneak in a pre-burn of calories I'm about to fearfully consume.
On the side, I haven't even owned an electric hand mixer in well over a decade. After cleaning up dried on splatters I must have missed by a former 1:4 spin out of brownie mix , I quickly realized there was quite decent control and more than satisfying results with a durable spoon instead. Even so, I had a ridiculously difficult time licking around the spinner attachments, anyway :P Unless you own a baking type biz or have physical challenges that limit your stirring capabilities, why would anyone have need of this? Are there that many people with large, roomy countertops or will this be another rarely used gadget that rests peacefully (or 'rusts' peacefully) shelved alongside the soda maker, cake pop maker, donut maker, cupcake maker, grilled cheese griddle, novelty popcorn popper, hot dog cooker, and waffle iron? The Sunday paper sale ads are showcasing these appliances often and bragging about how $200-$400 can basically turn over dough for you. I, personally, can imagine other ways to turn over my "dough" .... and it's on that new set of strap-on handweights and bamboo spoons.

![]() Yes, I did. In fact, it's so yummy, it will almost top popcorn, but popcorn isn't green and is pretty much predictable with every bite. However, both popcorn and kale chips get stuck in your teeth so have some floss picks on hand :) Note that I even showed photos of my boys eating this just to prove they love it. In fact, my oldest requested it today for snack. My younger son requested pinto beans & toast for breakfast, so we had that for lunch (since dry beans take a long time to cook). Anyway, back to kale chips... It's so easy, that a CPA can even do it. Well, you know what I mean. There are just too many rocket scientists out there that have never heard of kale chips. Here's the simple recipe: You need: 1. Kale, buy already chopped --or-- chop carelessly in 1.5-2" pieces 2. Olive Oil 3. Sea Salt ………………… 1. Toss chopped kale very lightly with olive oil & sea salt 2. Spread on cookie sheet 3. Bake on 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes Don't - use too much oil; take longer to cook - over salt; you'll lose the yummy taste of the kale - over cook; just cook 'til it's crispy - worry if you don't have it spread thin while cooking. I piled it on and it turned out fine. - say you don't like it until you've tried it _____________________________ Please feel free to comment below. Notice how well packed the items are. Glass jar items are bubble wrapped and packaging that could easily be crushed (like pretzels) are in safe compartments. So, it's like this: I have at least a dozen people ask me every month and I finally just had to put this in my blog. I just have to insert that my husband is especially grateful to these people at Vitacost b/c now he no longer has to wait in the parking lot with 3 children or go in a store while his wife shops & rambles on about this and that... I'm especially happy since I can do this with ease from home with a cup of coffee or anywhere on my cell phone. First, I order just the basics like my oils, & vinegar (coconut, sunflower, almond & Raw ACV) , hydrating coconut water (to add to my kids' homemade slushes or keep in pantry to use during sickness), my favorite sulfate-free soaps for mixing my own hand soap/body wash (peppermint castile soap + a little almond oil), my current favorite flouride-free toothpaste or rinse, and of course, my choice multi-Vitamin & Probiotic .... all right here on Vitacost.com. By the way, you'll find more than 30,000 products that help you care for yourself, your family, your pets and your home. You will get low prices on health and beauty products, vitamins, nutritional supplements, health foods and even whole food products. Then, I usually save so much money from the estimated 40%-50% savings I average by shopping on Vitacost.com (compared to driving 45 miles to my nearest health food store and their shelf prices) that I have enough left over to buy an extra few supplements (esp. during a BOGO 50% sale), some more bags of dry roasted pumpkin seeds, Black Bean chips, Snap pea crisps, High Protein Pretzels, or I may even toss in some Organic Lollipops for the kids :) I can give you $10 to try this site right here - no strings!
